Happy Star Wars Day by Lee Millard

Happy Star Wars Day!

To celebrate, here's a throwback from 1999 when I painted Darth Maul on a closet door. 23 years later I still think it looks decent. The door was eventually auctioned off to benefit the Bloomsburg Children's Museum. Additionally, here are two articles from Bloomsburg's Press Enterprise and Bloomsburg University's student paper, The Voice.

Rosen Catalog Revealed by Lee

On July 24, the day of the Sculpture Walk at Appalachian State University, not only was the winner of the competition revealed (Curt Brill), but the catalog for the outdoor exhibition/competition was released to the public as well. For those who are not within the proximity of Boone, NC, the PDF version has been posted here for you to look at.

To coincide with the Sculpture Walk, an audio tour by cell phone is also available. To hear LSM talk about his Fresh Air Fresheners, dial (828) 333-9020 then press either 5 or 7, followed by the "#" sign.

Southeast Gallery Guide by Lee

On newsstands now in the Southeastern U.S. and major cities is the June/July/August edition of the Southeast Gallery Guide. The cover story is on the 24th Rosen Outdoor Sculpture Competition & Exhibition in which two of LSM's Fresh Air Fresheners are included in. On page 7 of the gallery guide, Troy Tuttle's photograph of Fresh Air Freshener (Fruit Punch) is hoisted by crane against the North Carolina sky.
